China Sourcing & Procurement — Construction Materials & Machinery

Independent sourcing agent with hands-on experience managing end-to-end international supply chains from China — supplier identification and vetting, price negotiation, logistics coordination, and customs liaison — combined with several years of on-the-ground B2B commercial experience across Slovenia and China.

Right to work: Slovenian Permanent Residency — no visa or work permit required, immediately available.

What I Do

I work directly with Chinese suppliers on behalf of importers who need reliable sourcing but don't have someone on the ground managing it — finding and vetting factories, negotiating price and terms, and coordinating logistics and customs so goods actually arrive as agreed.

Current and recent work covers construction materials, interior finishing materials, and solar PV components — combined sourcing volume of roughly USD 400,000 across two independent engagements (see the case studies for the breakdown). I also spent time inside a Chinese manufacturer's export operation, which shaped how I think about the supplier side of these relationships.

What This Solves

Companies with foreign purchasing dependency — importing from China without someone local managing the relationship — tend to lose money to poor supplier vetting, weak negotiating leverage, and logistics/customs delays. That's the gap this fills: someone who has actually run the sourcing cycle end to end, supplier discovery through delivery.
